Louisiana’s Lieutenant Governor very has some candid comments about the American president. Billy Nungesser tells The West Block what he asked Donald Trump to say to Canadians after his 51st state comments, his thoughts on Trump linking Tylenol to autism and the president’s possible push for the National Guard to patrol New Orleans. The House was fired up last week about spending after the parliamentary watchdog reported an unexpected $68.5-billion deficit in this fall鈥檚 budget. 鈥淭his prime minister is more expensive than even Justin Trudeau,鈥 Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre said during debate in question period this past week. This as Mark Carney continued his travels meeting leaders overseas and Ottawa vows more help for Haiti. Chief Political correspondent David Akin joins The West Block.
