Alberta RCMP say missing 6-year-old boy has less than 5% chance of survival

Alberta RCMP officials said Sunday that Darius Macdougall, a six-year-old boy who went missing one week ago while on a walk with family members in the Crowsnest Pass, has still not been found. RCMP Cpl. Gina Slaney stated that the chance of the boy鈥檚 鈥渟urvivability鈥 is 鈥渓ess than five per cent,鈥 and that the agency met with Macdougall鈥檚 family this morning to discuss. Officials explained this statistic is because of the nature of the 鈥渢errain, exposure to the elements, and the amount of time that this search has gone on,鈥 since the boy disappeared. Jordan Prentice reports.
