B.C.’s Universal Ostrich Farm is awaiting a Supreme Court decision on the fate of roughly 400 ostriches, as the daughter of one of the farm’s co-owners speaks out against the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. At a press conference Thursday with U.S. billionaire philanthropist and animal rights advocate John Catsimatidis, Katie Pasitney said Canadian leaders need to step up and support the farm’s ostriches.
