A new academic specialization and research lab at Trent University Durham GTA is adding to the growing number of Black Studies programs in Canada. The launch of the programming was celebrated on Thursday afternoon. It will teach the perspectives of Black thinkers throughout history and how policies and social structures have marginalized Black communities. It will be available to students studying various programs with the goal of inspiring them to lead social change.
