Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has spoken out after being detained by the Israeli military along with more than 450 others last week. Though Thunberg said the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) 鈥渒idnapped鈥 and 鈥渢ortured鈥 her and her peers, she did not elaborate, saying she did not want to draw attention away from what she described as 鈥渢he escalating genocide in which Israel is openly trying to erase the entire Gaza Strip.鈥
