Nearly 90 per cent of clinics in war-hit eastern Congo –more than 200 health facilities – have run out of medicine because of widespread looting and supply chain disruptions caused by fighting, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said Wednesday. The finding is part of a survey conducted last month of 240 health centres and clinics in North and South Kivu provinces.
