Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney was back in question period in the House of Commons on Wednesday after he and his delegation met with U.S. President Donald Trump and his trade representatives on Tuesday in the White House. Carney was met with an onslaught of questions from Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre over auto makers moving their production south of the border, costing Canadian jobs. 鈥淛ust confirmed, (Carney) is selling out our auto workers,鈥 Poilievre said, adding 鈥渨hile the prime minister promises yet another trillion dollar gift to president Trump why doesn鈥檛 he look those workers in the eye and explain why he betrayed them.鈥 Poilievre also took a swipe at Carney after he appeared to boast about Trump calling him a tough negotiator: 鈥淕ive me a trillion dollars and even I will say something nice.鈥
