Tibetan leader discusses his call on Canada for the next Dalai Lama

As the Dalai Lama celebrated his 90th birthday this summer, discussions have intensified around the succession plan for the revered spiritual leader. The Dalai Lama is urging supporters to reject any successor chosen by China and calling on world leaders to take a stance. Sikyong Penpa Tsering, leader of the Central Tibetan Administration, joins Miranda Anthistle to explain his appeal for Canada’s support and what he hopes to see moving forward.
