Increasing direct and indirect costs of fighting wildfires

The B.C. government needs to drastically increase efforts to reduce the risk of wildfires, or face dire economic as well as environmental consequences. That’s a key finding of a study published in the journal ‘Science’, co-authored by Calvin Sandborn, University of Victoria Environmental Law Centre former legal director.
