Torrential downpours that hit Mexico last week killed at least 64 people and left 65 missing, the government said on Monday, after a tropical depression triggered landslides and floods in parts of the Gulf Coast and central states. The unnamed system struck near the end of the rainy season, swelling already saturated rivers as forecasters focused on tropical storms and two Pacific hurricanes.
