A new report is shedding light on how underinvestment in medical imaging is costing Canada $64B in lost GDP as patients wait months for the critical scans. Researchers from the Canadian Association of Radiologists and Deloitte found more than two million Canadians had to step away from work while waiting for diagnostic imaging.
