Despite weeks of progress in trade talks between Canada and the U.S., President Donald Trump says he will not meet with Prime Minister Mark Carney 鈥渇or a while鈥 after disagreeing with the Ontario-produced anti-tariff ad which ran until Sunday evening. During a press conference in Malaysia on Monday, Carney said, 鈥淚n any complicated high stakes negotiation, you can get unexpected twists and turns and you have to keep your cool during those situations. It doesn’t pay to be upset. Emotions don’t carry you very far.鈥
