Prisoners’ advocates wary of body scanners

Six federal prisons are now implementing the use of body scanners to search inmates for contraband. That includes the women’s prison in Truro – the only Atlantic Canadian location. While correctional officers see it as a step in the right direction for safety, prisoners’ advocates are wary. Angela Capobianco reports.
