Canada鈥檚 Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre criticized Prime Minister Mark Carney’s response to U.S. President Donald Trump鈥檚 decision last week to abruptly end ongoing trade negotiations with Canada. Trump鈥檚 decision came in response to an anti-tariff ad campaign run by the Ontario government across the U.S. 鈥淐arney approved the ad, and then he claimed after the ad started running that the ad was the reason why no deal happened,鈥 Poilievre told reporters in Ottawa on Tuesday, adding that Liberal leader was 鈥渓ooking for someone to blame.鈥
