Alberta schools reopen as unions plan potential general strike

While teachers have been mandated back at work across Alberta, an even bigger labour problem could be brewing. As Heather Yourex-West explains, the provincial government’s use of the notwithstanding clause has led to a coalition of Alberta unions threatening to organize a general strike.
