One day three years ago, Eric Abrahamson woke up and couldn’t walk. His spine had deteriorated and after surgery the Alberta man was told he’d never walk again — a diagnose he refused to accept. As Quinn Ohler explains, at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital he went from using a wheelchair, to standing, to walking again and his fighting spirit has now placed him amongst the 2025 Glenrose Courage Award recipients.
