Conservatives slam Liberals for ruling out use of notwithstanding clause for child porn sentences

During question period on Tuesday, Conservative MP Frank Caputo criticized the Liberals for rejecting calls to use the Charter’s notwithstanding clause to overturn the Supreme Court’s ruling that struck down mandatory sentences for possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation materials.
