Liberal talk ‘very expensive’: Poilievre criticizes Finance Minister for hour-long budget speech

After tabling Canada鈥檚 2025 Federal Budget in a speech spanning over an hour on Tuesday, Finance Minister Fran莽ois-Philippe Champagne was criticized by Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre. Poilievre congratulated Champagne for delivering his first spending plan, but joked that the length of the 鈥渧ery expensive鈥 speech would cost Canadians.
