Ontario Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy said on Thursday during the fall economic update that the province’s economy has “grown to new heights with a GDP of $1.2 trillion — some $350 billion more than it was in 2018.” He added that “our finances are the best shape they’ve been in more than a decade.” Bethlenfalvy also said more than $30 billion is currently flowing to tariff-impacted businesses.
