Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Friday during a town hall in Yellowknife that moving forward with Wynn’s Law would not have the positive outcomes to the justice system that many are hoping for, and he supports the justice minister’s decision. Bill S-217 was put forward after Alberta RCMP Const. David Wynn was fatally shot in the line of duty.
