Kelowna cherry expansion plans has neighbours up in arms
Description
February 22, 2018
A project to increase housing for migrant workers at one Kelowna farm is drawing criticism from neighbors. City council has approved an expansion plan involving one of the largest cherry growers in the Valley.
Nearby residents say adding more than 100 workers at the property will be an invasion of their privacy. But Kelowna's mayor says everything was done by the book and the owner says he'll do everything he can to alleviate the concerns of neighbours. Kelly Hayes has that story.
