Description
May 15, 2019
An Okanagan care home is taking unusual action to ensure it has enough staff to care for its senior residents. The Haven Hill Care Centre in Penticton is about to offer a free 8-month long program to more than a dozen people interested in becoming a care aide. This in the wake of a severe care aide shortage in this province that we told you about earlier this week. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
