New Ontario sex ed curriculum designed to respect religious views, says Lecce
Description
August 22, 2019
Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce said on Aug. 22 that the new sexual education curriculum instated by the Conservative government allows for parents to opt-out of certain lessons if they oppose their religious views. This move comes after a lengthy province-wide consultation process with parents to revamp the Liberal's former curriculum.
