A potential COVID-19 vaccine developed by the Chinese company CanSino Biologics Inc. is showing promising signs, ahead of human clinical trials starting soon in Canada. But as Abigail Bimman explains, there are still many stages to work through before a candidate vaccine could reach development and widespread use.
