U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday said that comments made about Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett, including about her religion, were “disgraceful.” He also referenced Democratic President John F. Kennedy, who was Catholic, and said they would put in efforts to stop such criticism of the nominee’s religion but would not say how.
