UPDATE: Feb. 23: A neighbour identifying himself as Tony told ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ he is not responsible for trapping and releasing this cat and he and his wife passed a polygraph test to prove it. ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ has also seen the results of the test stating they passed.
Feb. 12: A bizarre incident has Nanaimo cat owners concerned. The BC SPCA has opened an animal cruelty investigation after a report of a person allegedly trapping a cat, and releasing it out of town. As Kylie Stanton reports, the community’s worried this is not an isolated incident.
