Virtual reality: UBC Okanagan first to offer ‘immersive technologies’ graduate program

A $1.65 million grant from the federal government is helping UBC Okanagan become a leader in the emerging field of Virtual Reality or VR.
UBCO will become the first place in the world to offer a graduate program in ‘immersive technologies’
The program will be used by 11 different faculties at the university.
