Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller on Friday called comments by the Manitoba Indigenous Reconciliation Minister Alan Lagimodiere on residential schools “shocking,” but added that the views Lagimodiere expressed are ones that “are still held in this country.” Miller also acknowledged that the minister “recognizes today that he should have known better.”
