Hundreds of protesters on foot descended on Parliament early Saturday morning, accompanied by the sound of honking horns from trucks parked nearby as a demonstration got underway in Ottawa on Jan. 29 in support of truck drivers who had crossed the country to protest a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for cross-border travel.
