Winnipeg Mayor Brian Bowman outlined various provisions agreed to by city council on Thursday related to the protests taking place at the Manitoba legislature. He said a motion supported by council included reviewing existing noise provisions and determining potential fine increases, and he was tasked to reach out to the premier and said he has done so about the protest. He also said the chief administrative officer (CAO) was tasked with investigating whether an injunction could be brought against the protesters.
