Manitoba RCMP Sgt. Paul Manaigre said Wednesday that communication is what led to the remaining COVID-19 mandate protesters at the Emerson border crossing agreeing to leave the area, saying it was a “perfect solution” because no arrests or charges occurred. He also said there were no “slow-rolls” they were aware of, but would respond if necessary.
