As Saskatchewan NDP Leader Ryan Meili resigned on Friday, he spoke against Premier Scott Moe’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, stating he has “no regrets” about speaking up on the situation. He added his only regret is not forcing the current government to take COVID-19 “more seriously” and “act to protect people’s lives.” He went on to say that “Scott Moe has failed us and I’m sorry we weren’t able to force him to do better.”
