It’s been more than five months since devastating flood waters poured through Abbotsford’s Sumas Prairie and some residents there haven’t seen a dime in government help. As Paul Johnson reports, damage costs for one couple are in the tens of thousands of dollars and it’s only been friends, family and the community that have stepped up to help.
