Canada ‘remains firm’ on commitment to resettling 40,000 Afghan refugees: Trudeau

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said during question period on Wednesday that Canada “remains firm” on its commitment to resettle 40,000 Afghan refugees, adding that 2,400 refugees have arrived from Afghanistan in the past month and hundreds more arrive each week.
