In her concession speech in the Ontario provincial election on Thursday, Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath announced that she will be stepping down as party leader while celebrating the NDP鈥檚 position as the official opposition. 鈥淭onight, it鈥檚 time for me to pass the torch, to pass the baton, to hand off the leadership of the NDP,鈥 an emotional Horwath said. 鈥淚鈥檓 not shedding tears of sadness, I鈥檓 shedding tears of pride.鈥
