For years, a concerted effort to bring a safe consumption and treatment site to Peterborough has trickled down to this moment.
On June 13, that site finally opened its doors downtown amid an escalating opioid crisis during COVID-19.
Donna Rogers is the executive director of Four Counties Addiction Services (Fourcast). She explains to Noor Ibrahim why Fourcast waited a week to address the opening of the site.
