Speaking at the Standing Committee on National Defence in Ottawa on Tuesday, chief of defence staff Wayne Donald Eyre discussed the increasing complexity and importance of Arctic politics amid a backdrop of rising geo-political tensions, evolving technology and climate change. Eyre emphasized that it was “more important than ever” for Arctic nations to co-operate.
