British Columbia’s provincial health officer says she “doesn’t see a need for a mask mandate by itself,” and there are many other tools to protect against the respiratory illnesses currently circulating. That position could change, however, if a severe virus pops up against which there is low immunity, Dr. Bonnie Henry told reporters on Nov. 16, 2022.
