Winnipeg Police commander of the organized crime division, Insp. Elton Hall, detailed the results of an interprovincial drug investigation dubbed “Project ONYX” on Friday. Hall said 3 handguns were seized, while 4 others were found along with drugs inside a hydraulic compartment in suspect vehicles. Overall, 50 kg of cocaine, 20 kg of methamphetamine, 1,5 kg of MDMA, and roughly 5 kg of heroin, fentanyl, oxycodone, and psilocybin totalling over $9 million in street value was seized.
