Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson spoke on Tuesday alongside the finance minister, Cliff Cullen, regarding the province’s investments in the 2023 budget. Stefanson said the province outlined a commitment of $130 million to reduce Manitoba’s surgical and diagnostic backlog by forming a working taskforce as well as expanding partnerships with surgical clinic to ease wait times.
