Airbnb claims it has pulled all short-term rental listings in Quebec without a registration number off its platform. The change comes nearly two weeks after a deadly fire in Old Montreal that was home to several illegal Airbnb units. As Global’s Felicia Parrillo reports, some say it’s a good first step to clamping down on illegal short-term rentals, but believe more should be done.
