St. Theresa Point Chief Elvin Flett spoke at the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC) headquarters on Monday following the announcement to launch a $5 billion class action lawsuit with other First Nations regarding the living conditions of their residents. “The housing crisis in St. Theresa Point forces generations to cram together under one roof, two-bedroom homes are occupied by up to 12 people,” was among one of many issues Flett discussed.
