Manitoba Tobacco Reduction Alliance executive director John McDonald said on Monday that new measures to label individual cigarettes with warnings are a “big step” to transcend the tobacco-use plateau. Global Winnipeg also asked people who use tobacco products if these warnings would have an impact. Some said the “only way to quit smoking is with willpower.”
