Manitoba anti-smoking association says new warnings on individual cigarettes ‘big step’ forward

Manitoba Tobacco Reduction Alliance executive director John McDonald said on Monday that new measures to label individual cigarettes with warnings are a “big step” to transcend the tobacco-use plateau. Global Winnipeg also asked people who use tobacco products if these warnings would have an impact. Some said the “only way to quit smoking is with willpower.”
