Habitat for Humanity Family Selection and Service manager Carmen Fredborg said on Wednesday, “it’s the sense of empowerment that brings volunteers involved in the Women Build back everyday to help construct homes for families.” Fredborg added supplying families with affordable and reliable homes helps break the cycle of poverty and allows children to thrive. This comes as more volunteers joined to help build a 55-unit complex.
