Officials with the BC Wildfire Service are defending themselves today, saying there was no indication a wildfire north of Chase would take an aggressive turn last night. The Lower East Adams Lake fire began racing toward homes and cabins, forcing evacuation orders. As Aaron McArthur reports, it’s another example of how unpredictable and volatile this province’s wildfire season has turned out to be.
