Speaking to ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ about Toronto’s housing market, Jason Mercer, the chief market analyst at the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board, said it’s important that both affordable and market housing options are developed for newcomers. Mercer said polling has shown that the propensity to purchase a home is higher among those who immigrate to Canada than those grew up here.
